The first show, on Friday 15th November at 16.00 and again at 20.00 (see flyer), is the acclaimed British show, Scaramouche Jones, written and performed by Justin Butcher for the Millennium. It picks up themes of identity, hope and home – all strong needs in our human psyche. On his 100th birthday, our clown, Scaramouche, takes his audience on a surreal – and often funny – hundred year journey of world history – passing through Milan on route to finding a sort of ‘home’ in the circus.
