Agent for Fine Home Furnishings in Milano, Italy

Are you an experienced agent in selling fine home furnishings? We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual with knowledge and contacts in consignment stores, estate sales, auction houses, or relocation and staging services to act as our agent in the Milano area.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for the sales and transfer of an entire household’s worth of high-end furnishings currently in storage near Milano. Among other items, the inventory includes:– Appliances including Washer/Dryer and A/C units
– A mix of antique and modern furniture
– Fine bone China, crystal stemware, and silver
– Crystal chandeliers
– Oil paintings
–  Outdoor furniture
– Oriental rugs, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
– Engage a qualified appraiser to evaluate the inventory and identify optimal sales channels.
– Coordinate with buyers, consignors, or auction houses as necessary.
– Manage the sales process from initial contact to the final transfer of items.
– Ensure a smooth and efficient transaction process.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience in fine home furnishings sales, preferably within consignment stores, estate sales, auction houses, or relocation and staging services.
– Strong network within the Milano region or experience working with local buyers.
– Excellent negotiation skills.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Business Arrangement:
The terms of the business arrangement are negotiable, with the goal of finalizing the agreement by October 2024.
