Pride House Milano 2026: An Inclusive Hub During the Winter Olympics

As Milan prepares to welcome the world for the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, the city will also host one of the most meaningful cultural initiatives connected to the Games: Pride House Milano 2026.

From February 6th to 22nd, 2026, Pride House Milano will open its doors as a vibrant and inclusive space dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ communities and allies in sport. Located in the heart of the city, it will bring together culture, dialogue, and live Olympic experiences in a welcoming environment open to everyone.

What Is Pride House? A Global Legacy of Inclusion

Pride Houses are LGBTQIA+ inclusive spaces created around major international sporting events, first introduced at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics and continued through editions such as Paris 2024.

Their mission is clear: to show how sport can be a powerful platform for visibility, connection, and social change. Pride House Milano 2026 proudly carries this legacy forward, aligning with the Olympic and Paralympic values of unity, respect, and inclusion, while offering a safe and open hub for the local and international community.

A Cultural Hub at MEET Digital Culture Center

Pride House Milano 2026 will take place at MEET Digital Culture Center (Viale Vittorio Veneto 2), one of Milan’s most dynamic cultural venues.

More than just an event space, Pride House is designed as a community hub where visitors can:

  1. Watch live Olympic and Paralympic competitions in the Lounge Area, surrounded by an international and welcoming crowd
  2. Join daily talks and discussions (Tuesday to Sunday) exploring sport as a tool for inclusion, equality, and LGBTQ+ rights
  3. Experience evening performances every Friday and Saturday, with theatre, cinema, art, and cultural events hosted in the MEET Theater

A Collaborative Project with Strong International Support

Pride House Milano 2026 is organized by Arcigay, Italy’s national LGBTQ+ rights association, together with CIG Arcigay Milano and Pride Sport Milano, in collaboration with a wide network of cultural and advocacy organizations.

Partners include MiX Festival, MILANoLTRE, ILGA World, and Fier-Play, among others. The initiative is part of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympiad and is held under the patronage of the Municipality of Milan and the Embassy of Canada, with the support of the Council of Europe.

The official partner of Pride House Milano 2026 is Lululemon.

Meet Olympic and Paralympic Athletes

One of the highlights of Pride House Milano 2026 is the opportunity to meet international Olympic and Paralympic athletes who openly share their stories of identity, courage, and authenticity in sport.

On Saturday, February 14th, a special event supported by the Canadian Embassy will feature athletes including:

  1. Alex Di Giorgio (Swimming, Italy)
  2. Paul Poirier (Figure Skating, Canada)
  3. Javier Raya (Figure Skating, Spain)
  4. Nikki Symmons (Field Hockey & Cricket, Ireland)
  5. Eric Radford & Kaitlyn Weaver (Figure Skating, Canada)
  6. Lewis Gibson (Figure Skating, Great Britain)

Community, Support, and Safe Spaces

Pride House Milano is not only a celebration but also a place of support and connection.

Local LGBTQ+ associations will lead panels and discussions, while a dedicated Welcome Desk will provide information about volunteering and community services in Milan.

A special collaboration with the historic Pronto helpline ensures listening and support services are available, including for international visitors.
