Location: Piazza del Duomo, Milan, Italy
Event: On April 16, 2021, an authorized static demonstration will take place in Piazza del Duomo. The demonstration is expected to begin at 16.00 hrs. The number of participants is currently unknown. This demonstration is organized by the “Movimento Imprese Italiane” (Italian Companies Movement) to express dissatisfaction with COVID-19 related Italian government policies, and to lobby for the reopening of various activities and establishments including bars, restaurants, and theaters. Police will be on site monitoring the situation. U.S. Consulate General Milan recommends that American citizens avoid Piazza del Duomo at the time of the protest.
