Sotto Le Stelle: Wednesday talk series
This June, we’ve teamed up with Ruffino for a stellar talk series called Sotto Le Stelle. Every Wednesday, at 7pm, we will be welcoming a guest speaker to the glorious gardens of the Poggio Casciano estate as our editor Helen Farrell engages in conversation with some of the most inspiring and popular members of Tuscany’s international community.

Former prime minister of Canada
Kim Campbell will bring the conversation series to a close on June 29, as the politician speaks about life after the premiership, moving to Tuscany and her advocacy for women’s rights.
All the events are free, but you’ll be tempted to stay for a glass of wine, a platter of Tuscan cold cuts and amazing cheeses, or even dinner at the onsite restaurant afterwards. Email hospitality@ruffino.it to book your spot.

Join us for the Fourth of July!
That’s not all. On Monday, July 4, we’ll be hosting an Independence Day BBQ at Ruffino’s Poggio Casciano estate. Resident chef Stefano Frassineti has come up with a finger-licking menu of American-style Tuscan goodness served, if you will, with Ruffino’s wines of all shades surrounded by the greenery of the Renaissance villa’s gardens. Expect good vibes and Tuscan beauty this Fourth of July with Ruffino and The Florentine. Tickets cost 35 euro (wine not included); from 19:30 onwards.
