UK Nationals in Italy, Know Your Rights
Many questions still remain unanswered for UK nationals living in Italy regarding the Withdrawal agreement. The British Embassy in Rome is persistently working to keep UK nationals in Italy informed.
A new poster by The British Embassy in Rome for UK nationals living in Italy communicating their rights under the Withdrawal Agreement and resources for support is available for download.
Please help Easy Milano and The British Embassy in Rome keep UK nationals in Italy informed of their rights. Feel free to download the printable poster and post it anywhere UK nationals may see it; schools, community centers, international businesses, etc.
All UK nationals and their close family members lawfully living in Italy before 1 January 2021 are covered by the Withdrawal Agreement. They should now obtain a new ‘carta di soggiorno elettronica’ (biometric residency card) issued by the local questura. The card is important because it provides the clearest evidence of your rights under the Withdrawal Agreement.
The British Embassy in Rome and consulate in Milan frequently organize online Q&A advisory sessions providing support for UK nationals living in Italy, see the Easy Milano events calendar for updates.
