AICR in collaboration with Tina Salandra CPA hosted a seminar on US TAX RETURNS & EXPATS: What you need to know for 2018-2019 issues and filling with guest speaker Tina Salandra, CPA on Tuesday, May 29th at 7:30 p.m. at La Siciliana Restaurant by the US Embassy.
There are changes in the US Tax Laws every year. As an expatriate, it can be more difficult to keep abreast of changes and how they may affect your personal US tax obligations.
Guest Speaker Tina Salandra will cover the following topics:
- US Tax Law Updates including: *The Foreign Income Exclusion *Housing Exclusion * US Federal Tax Brackets
- The Newly Revised Streamline Filing Program for US Expats who have not filed a US tax return in years
- Changes in bank account reporting to the US: New Form, No Paper Filing, etc.
- Overview of Foreign Financial Assets & reporting requirements to the US.
The presentation was followed by a Q & A session.
Tina Salandra, CPA, as Numerical’s Principal, has over 20 years experience in tax, accounting, and business services. She has held Chief Financial Officer positions for an internet company, university, and international not-for-profit organization. Tina has a Master’s Degree in Taxation and she is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Society of Tax Professionals.
