BLANK – the LGBTQIA+ community through short films and photography, DJ set & Aperitivo @ IIF

During Milano Pride week,  Istituto Italiano di Fotografia hosts the second edition of the big BLANK event, organized by IIF Art Side, which this year tells the story of the LGBTQIA+ community through short movies and the exhibition of the new Milano Pride 2023 campaign.

IIF renews its support for Milano Pride, with which it has been collaborating for 10 years as technical sponsor in the production of images for its communication and reportage campaigns. The images shot and postproduced by Anna Guidi, Nicole Merolli, Massimiliano Meroni and Davide Verderame will be exhibiteId again this year in the IIFWALL from June 21 to July 14, and the entire campaign will be presented at the opening of the event by Alice Redaelli, president of CIG Arcigay Milano and communication manager of Milano Pride.

For the first time duing BLANK it will be possible to watch 3 short films, on the various facets of love and falling in love, as also the emotional torment, loneliness, bullying and homophobia. In their works, directors Simone Bozzelli, Marius Gabriel Stancu and Li Chenxi delicately narrate difficult and intimate themes highlighting tensions, stereotypes and fragments of life.

During the opening, from 7:30 p.m., there will be a DJ and aperitif in the outdoor area.

The BLANK format, inaugurated in 2022 by IIF, aims to be a white, empty container to be filled in each edition with different visual projects.
