Instructions for travelers returning to Italy

Returning from Belgium, France, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Spain

Travelers returning to Italy from 14 October to 3 December, and are domiciled in the provinces of Milan and Lodi,  must register by filling out the form at the following link

We encourage you to maintain fiduciary isolation in your home or residence.
It is necessary to pay the utmost attention, even at home, to keep social distance from family members and to use a mask, especially in the presence of elderly or frail relatives;

If you have already been swabbed within 72 hours prior to your arrival in Italy, or at the arrival points, send the scan of the report to the following email address: giri@ats-milano.it specifying in the text the tax code, the date and the location of the test.
Valid tests for entry are molecular or antigenic tests carried out by means of a swab and negative results.

Swab tests booked through ATS and with the Regional Health Service are free.

If the swab is carried out outside the Regional Health Service, the service is non-refundable and the report must be sent to ATS at the following email address: giri@ats-milano.it

From Friday 21 August for travelers arriving at Linate, the service coordinated by ATS Metropolitan City of Milan will be active, with access  and openings at the arrival of flights from the countries indicated above. The testing activities will be guaranteed with the collaboration of the structures of the San Donato Hospital Group.

Return from other foreign countries

For all citizens returning from other foreign countries, they must in any case notify the Prevention Department by entering the data

There are exceptions, i.e. categories of citizens who, despite coming from countries that would require it, do not have a quarantine obligation upon entering our country. These include healthcare personnel, transport personnel and EU officials  ( complete list on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ).
