State of the Union Citizens’ Rights 2024

The ECAS team is kindly inviting you to join the “State of the Union Citizens’ Rights 2024” Conference in Brussels (or online), which will take place on March 19th at The Hotel (Boulevard de Waterloo 38, 1000 Brussels) from 09.30 to 13.00.

This year, in light of the upcoming European Parliament elections, our conference will focus on shaping an inclusive democracy that leaves no one behind.

In addition to providing a forum for discussion among academics, civil society, and decision-makers on how to improve voting rights and foster political participation among EU citizens, the State of the Union Citizens’ Rights Conference will assess recent developments in the field of European Citizenship and feature panel discussions on creating an inclusive EU and advancing the EU’s youth-centered agenda.

The 2023 Citizenship Award winners will also be revealed at our conference.
