Fondazione Piero e Lucille Corti returns to Officine del Volo for its annual Charity Gala Dinner in support of Lacor Hospital, the non-profit hospital serving communities in Northern Uganda.
Founded through the work of doctors Piero Corti and Lucille Teasdale, Lacor Hospital has grown from a small mission hospital into one of the largest hospitals in Equatorial Africa. Today, the hospital has 554 beds, three peripheral health centres and provides care to approximately 200,000 people each year, primarily women and children.
The Evening
The evening will begin with an aperitivo in the Sala Eliche, curated by Citterio, followed by dinner in the Sala Biplano.
Music will play a special role in this year’s event, accompanying the aperitivo and returning throughout the dinner with short live performances between courses.
The programme will also include moments dedicated to the work of Lacor Hospital, videos from Uganda and a live connection with the hospital. Dominique Corti, President of Fondazione Piero e Lucille Corti, will once again be present for the evening.
Supporting Lacor Hospital
Lacor Hospital’s mission is to provide the best possible care to the greatest number of people at the lowest possible cost.
For more than 65 years, the hospital has continued to provide essential medical care through periods of conflict, epidemics and extreme poverty, becoming an important healthcare institution in Northern Uganda.
How to Participate
Individual participation – minimum donation €250 per person
Guests can reserve an individual place at the gala dinner with a minimum donation of €250.
Private table – 10 guests – minimum donation €2,500
A complete table can be reserved for family, friends or guests, offering an opportunity to experience the evening together while supporting the work of Lacor Hospital.
Participation in the dinner is considered a donation to Fondazione Piero e Lucille Corti ETS and is therefore eligible for the applicable tax benefits.
